Major Scholarships for Degree Students in Kerala

1. e-Grantz  Scholarship 

For SC, ST, OBC, OEC, and other eligible backward community students.

2. National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Scholarships

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a digital platform introduced by the Government of India to provide various scholarships offered by Central Government Ministries, State Governments, and other agencies for students pursuing school, undergraduate, postgraduate, technical, and professional education. The portal enables students to apply for different scholarship schemes through a single online platform based on merit, community, minority status, disability, family income, and academic performance.

Scholarships under the NSP :

  • Students with Disabilities :

Scholarships are provided for differently-abled students pursuing UG and PG courses in recognized institutions. Financial assistance is given for tuition fees, maintenance allowance, study materials, and other educational expenses. Students must produce a valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority.

  • Children of Fishermen :

Educational assistance and scholarships are available for students belonging to fishermen families through welfare boards and government schemes. The scholarship aims to support higher education and reduce financial burden on economically weaker coastal families.

  • Children of Jawans :

Scholarships are provided for children of ex-servicemen, defense personnel, and martyrs through Central and State Government welfare schemes. Eligible students can receive financial assistance for school and college education.

  • Single Girl Child Scholarships :
