MVR Institute of Life Science and Research Studies in association with MVR Ayurveda Medical College and Centre for Quality and Food Safety, New Delhi celebrated World Food Day on 16th October 2023. MODHAK 2023 was inaugurated by Dr. K. Chandran, Principal Scientist, Regional Sugarcane Research Centre, Kannur. Dr. Ajesh. K., Manager, Laboratories, Sreechand Hospital, Kannur and Dr. Jyolsana. P, Assistant Professor, MVR Ayurveda Medical College did seminar on the topic “Food Safety and Public Health” and “Food and Health” respectively. Employees of the MVR institutions were honoured. An interesting quiz competition was also held on 13th October 2023 at 2.30 PM to celebrate World Food day on the topic “Water, Health and Food Borne disease”. Winners of the Quiz competition was announced and prize were distributed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
